UnderSide Records was founded in 2023 by independent artist JJschmitty with a mission to push boundaries in music, creativity, and culture. Based in Texas, the label was built from the ground up to give rising artists a platform where their voices are heard and their art is respected.
What started as JJschmitty’s vision to control his own music career quickly evolved into a movement—one that empowers artists through development, live shows, promotion, and authentic connection with fans. UnderSide Records focuses on cultivating raw talent, providing opportunities for exposure, and creating an alternative space for artists who don’t fit the industry mold.
More than just a label, UnderSide Records represents independence, resilience, and the belief that real artistry comes from the underground.
